Outdoor Events

Outdoor events need power where there are no outlets: weddings, markets, tailgates, music performances, photography shoots, and community gatherings. The requirements vary from a small PA system and string lights to full vendor setups with food service equipment. Unlike most other scenarios, events often have hard deadlines—the power needs to last until the event ends, not just "as long as possible."

Sound equipment and lighting are the most common loads. A small PA system runs 100 to 300 watts. String lights might use 50 to 100 watts for a full installation. Food vendors running blenders, warming trays, or coffee makers need 1000W or more. Calculating your event's total load and duration determines the capacity you need.

Practical note: For a 6-hour event: A small PA (200W average) uses about 1200Wh. String lights (75W) use about 450Wh. A blender running occasionally (200W average) uses about 1200Wh. Total: roughly 2800Wh for a modest setup. Always bring more capacity than your calculation suggests—events run long, and loads are often underestimated.

Tip: For multi-day events or festivals, solar panels ensure your power stations stay charged between peak usage times, giving you true energy independence from sunrise to last dance.

Recommended bundles: Three Levels of Setup

Level 1: Small Gatherings

For intimate events: backyard parties, small markets, acoustic performances, and photography. Powers a small speaker, string lights, and device charging.

Power stations: EcoFlow RIVER 3 Max or RIVER 3 Max Plus. Portable for easy transport and positioning.

Multiple units: Deploy several RIVER units to create charging stations or power distributed loads.

Level 2: Medium Events

For weddings, markets, DJ setups, and food vendors. Powers PA systems, lighting rigs, blenders, and warming equipment.

Power stations: EcoFlow DELTA 3 or DELTA 3 Plus. Enough for a full-day event with moderate loads.

Add: EcoFlow GLACIER for cold beverages and food storage.

Level 3: Large Events and Professional Use

For festivals, large vendor operations, and professional AV setups. All-day power for high-draw equipment with reserve capacity.

Power stations: EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra, DELTA Pro, or DELTA Pro 3. The DELTA Pro 3's 4000W output handles demanding professional equipment.

Expansion: Add an Extra Battery to double your capacity. The DELTA Pro supports up to 25kWh of total storage with multiple batteries.

Pro tip: For critical events, bring a backup unit. The show must go on.
