Power Hub Systems
A power hub system is built around a hub or inverter rather than a self-contained station. The hub supplies the inverter, charging circuitry, and outlets, but holds no energy of its own until a compatible battery is installed alongside it. These setups are designed to be wired into a vehicle, cabin, or home rather than moved around.

Hub-based batteries (found here) are the primary power source for a hub-based system. The hub itself stores nothing — it does nothing at all until a compatible battery is attached, so the battery isn't an optional upgrade. It's a required, core piece of the build.

What's in a Power Hub System
Most builds combine a few core pieces: a power hub (the inverter and charging core), one or more batteries sized to the hub's voltage, and often a distribution panel and a control screen for monitoring and managing the system. Solar panels can be part of the build too — some kits bundle them in, others are sized to accept panels you add separately.
What to Look For

Output (W): Check both the hub's continuous and surge output against what you plan to run at once — this is set by the hub, not the battery.

Battery voltage and capacity: Batteries must match the hub's required voltage exactly. Capacity (Wh) is voltage × amp-hours, and many systems scale by adding more batteries rather than swapping to a bigger one.

Solar input: If solar charging is part of your plan, confirm the hub's supported panel wattage and connector type, whether or not panels are included in the listing.
