Entertain Anywhere

Tailgates, backyard movie nights, beach parties, and parking lot gatherings share a common need: bringing the party to places without outlets. Entertainment power typically means TVs or projectors, sound systems, blenders for drinks, string lights, and phone charging for guests. These loads are moderate but need to last through the event without interruption.

The good news is that modern TVs and speakers are efficient. A 50-inch LED TV uses about 100 watts. A decent portable speaker uses 20 to 50 watts. String lights are typically under 100 watts total. A blender draws 300 to 600 watts but only runs for seconds at a time. The math usually works out: a medium-sized power station handles a full tailgate or movie night easily.

Practical note: Tailgate math: TV (100W x 4 hours = 400Wh) + speaker (30W x 4 hours = 120Wh) + blender (occasional use ≈ 50Wh) + string lights (75W x 4 hours = 300Wh) + phone charging (100Wh) = roughly 1000Wh total. A DELTA 3 handles this with room to spare.

Items like string lights or speakers sip power and can run all night. But appliances with motors — like blenders or mini fridges — draw more, especially when they cycle on and off.

High-wattage devices (TVs, blenders) are fine for short use but shorten your overall runtime if run continuously.

Tip: Use a solar panel alongside your power station during the day to recharge while the party continues.

Recommended bundles: Three Levels of Setup

Level 1: Casual Gathering

For small groups with a Bluetooth speaker, string lights, and phone charging. Simple entertainment without video.
