Tailgates, backyard movie nights, beach parties, and parking lot gatherings all share the same need: bringing the party to places without outlets. Entertainment loads — TVs, speakers, string lights, a blender for drinks — are moderate individually, but they need to run without interruption through the whole event.

Light, Medium, and Heavy Use

  • Light use: A casual gathering with a speaker, string lights, and phone charging for a couple of hours. Look for 250– 500Wh of capacity — our Compact collection fits here.
  • Medium use: A tailgate or movie night running a TV, speaker, string lights, and occasional blender use over three to four hours — typically around 1,000Wh total. Look for our Mid-Range collection.
  • Heavy use: An all-day event running the same mix of devices continuously, plus extras like a mini fridge. Look for 1,500– 2,500Wh of capacity — our High Capacity collection fits here. Pairing in a solar panel during the day keeps you charged while the party continues.

Items like string lights and speakers sip power and can run all night, but anything with a motor — a blender or mini fridge — draws more, especially as it cycles on and off. Short bursts of high-wattage use are fine; running them continuously is what shortens your runtime.
